A quick reminder as we go into Easter weekend—lilies and kitties do not mix!
Unfortunately, most flower bundles that you see at farmer’s markets and at the grocery store due include lilies, and most places do not post warnings regarding lily toxicity if you have cats in your home near these flowers, so keep a good eye out to make sure that you bring home safe flowers that you and your furry loved ones can enjoy! If you do notice that your kitty has been near or in contact with a lily, contact the ASPCA Pet Poison Hotline or the closest ER vet near you.
